Illux's sire LATIMER is an extremely popular Trakehner stallion, and is also
approved for the Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Westphalian, Rhineland,
Saxony-Anhalt, France, Switzerland, and Denmark breeds.
LATIMER is a true "upgrader" stallion with dance-like motions and wonderful
suppleness, and above all, the willingness to perform. He was a premium
stallion at his approvals in Neumunster in 1998. He was 3rd overall at his
stallion performance test in 1999 with 132 points and was the rideability
champion with 20 points higher than anyone else.
In 2000 LATIMER was Bundeschampion (German Young Riding Horse Champion) over
all breeds, with an overall score of 9.2, including a "10" for rideability
and type. His score at the Championships is the highest to date.

reserve champion in 2002, ILLUX (2003), and KAROLINGER,
IMMENHOF and KAROLINGER 2 ( 2004). LATIMER

LATIMER's sire SAINT CLOUD was reserve champion at the approvals in 1990. A
beautiful black half Thoroughbred stallion, he did extremely well at his
performance test in 1991 with an overall rideability score of 153 points. At
the ages of 3 and 4, SAINT CLOUD was also successful in conformation
classes. He then went on to have a very successful dressage career with high
placements and wins up to Grand Prix under Karin Rehbein before being sold
to Switzerland in 1999. SAINT CLOUD has 5 approved sons in Germany and has
also produced many high priced auction horses. He is also approved for the
Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Westfalian and Rheinland breeds. SAINT CLOUD now
stands in Denmark.

LATIMER's dam LARA Xll is by Elite stallion CAPRIMOND, 1998 Trakehner
stallion of the year. CAPRIMOND's pedigree includes the outstanding
stallions AROGNO, FLANEUR, IBIKUS, KARON, MACKENSEN and HERZBUBE. CAPRIMOND
has shown to the Grand Prix levels with many wins. He has sired 12 approved
sons and many premium daughters and his offspring are known for their
rideability and trainability. CAPRIMOND is approved for 10 different
registries and is known as a Trakehner "improver" for other breeds.
Latimer is among the top 5% of dressage producers (of all
breeds) in Germany.
