LAZARA (KIRA), is a beautiful 7 year old mare
by our own stallion (now deceased) LARAZZI out of a Thoroughbred
mare. She was approved for the ATA Preliminary Stud Book with 51 points.
She was started lightly as a 4 year old and showed in some training level
1 dressage tests with marks in the 60's. She also started jumping small
courses. KIRA has had light work for the past 2 years (through no fault
of her own), and is just starting back now. She has 3 very nice gaits- her
inspection marks were: Walk-8, Trot-8, Canter-7. She shows good form over
fences and likes to jump. Kira has the sweetest temperament and loves to
be around people. She is quite sensitive under saddle and needs a quiet
rider, but with the right person she could go far.
Bloodlines
KIRA is by the ATA approved stallion LARAZZI, (please see his pages for
more information), out of an ex-race horse mare, RUBYS IMPORT. After retiring
from racing, RUBYS IMPORT was shown successfully in local hunter classes
and in dressage through first level. She has very good Thoroughbred bloodlines,
with DAMASCUS and BOLD RULER up close.
