We are extremely pleased to have had the opportunity to purchase the States
Premium mare WALLIS to add to our collection of top quality
broodmares. On her studbook inspection by the Hanoverian Verband in Germany
she is an overall "8", and she passed her mare performance test
with the scores of 8,8,7,8,8 for gaits and rideability. WALLIS
had 2 foals by the top Trakehner sire EH HOHENSTEIN before
being imported to North America in foal to Hanoverian Champion HIS
HIGHNESS. We couldn't be happier with the resulting filly born
in March of 2006. (see HER HIGHNESS under Mares).
WALLIS has a kind sweet nature and is a perfect mother.
She is a powerful mover and has excellent conformation. She was inspected
and entered into the Oldenburg Main Mare book in August of 2006 with very
good comments. WALLIS had a big strong black colt by
DE LUXE born 2 weeks early on June 2nd, 2007. DECORUM
(GROMIT) has a wonderful personality, lots of substance,
and moves with lots of spring. GROMIT was sold before weaning and is very happy in his huge field in Indiana.
UPDATE: WALLIS is in foal to SWAROVSKI, due May 21, 2009. Here is a link to this lovely stallion's video.
